WORKS OF HEART 2024

Presented by Gallery 300 and Curated by Lori Austin

Honoring Dr. Deborah A. Roberts, JCFC Director of Clinical Services

Join us for our 8th annual Works of Heart Art Show and Fundraiser. This event is a collaboration between national and local artists and Sonoma County’s only completely free clinic. At this inspiring event, artists come together to show their art and raise much-needed operating funds for the JCFC. Art proceeds are shared between artists and the clinic, supporting both the arts and the activities of our safety net services.

Works of Heart 2024—in its seventh year—is a vital annual fundraiser that raises much needed operating funds for the Jewish Community Free Clinic in Santa Rosa. It is an exclusive opportunity to delight in this special meal while supporting artists and the free clinic mission all at once.

What makes Works of Heart different? Unlike most fundraisers that ask artists to donate the full sales price, Works of Heart artists receive half of the proceeds from the sale of their work, benefiting both the artists and the JCFC.

The main event, on Saturday June 22 from 5:00-9:00 PM, is an exhibition sponsored by Gallery 300.  It takes place at Sonoma Academy with a ticketed dinner catered by Cafe Citti.  A VIP reception from 4:30 - 5:00 PM provides donors early access to view and first dibs to purchase art.

The Jewish Community Free Clinic is Sonoma County’s only completely free clinic that has been providing completely free health care and social services to uninsured and other low-income clients in need of primary care, free medications, free labs, and vaccination services since 2001. The JCFC also provides acupuncture services and free Solution Focused Therapy to those needing mental health support.  All services are provided completely free of charge in an atmosphere of respect, compassion, and empowerment.

In these challenging times, when people throughout our community are anxious, frightened, and uncertain how they can help, the Works of Heart fundraiser inspires art enthusiasts locally and throughout the country to make a difference ensuring assistance to those most in need.
